There is a lot going on in the outer world views ( news ) that can take you off centre and trap you in a perpetual state of fear thinking, worries and anxieties about the future if you are not paying attention to your inner well-being and making it a priority.

Balancing your use of technology and time spent on devices with dedicated daily self care routines, time in nature, bare feet on the earth and mindful breathing practices are very much required to calm ones nervous system to release the build up of tensions, over thinking and feelings of overwhelm in the mind, the body and emotions.

So much of the way we have been taught about life is backward to how life actually works when working in harmony with itself. These times are showing us where we are functioning way out of harmony with ourselves, this planet and one another and thus why much change is required in our thinking, speaking and behaviours.
Life is a inner game that gets reflected back to us from the outside. To change the outer, you have to make changes on the inner first. The example often used is it is like looking in the mirror. You have to smile first in order for the mirror to reflect your smile back to you and the same is true with your sad unhappy face and so on . . . !!!
Knowing The Deeper WHY of what we do can take us through the challenging moments more gracefully with faith and a greater sense of purpose.
One of my big WHY's to being dedicated passionately to supporting and teaching people in the values of promoting self care for over a decade in Hanmer Springs via my M.V.M. Holistic Day Spa & VL Wellness Retreat is because I know that truly cared for people care for others naturally, it is innate to whom we are. This philosophy and understanding is something I introduce to my students as the foundation of my 50hr certified Holistic Intuitive Massage Trainings.

Cared for parents through a good massage, yoga session, nutritious food, time in nature to slow down and reflect, nurturing conversations and gaining empowering wellness tools will care better for their kids ( the next generations of thought leaders, artist, carers and inventors etc ).
The simply truth of it is, when parents and people in general feel cared for and are going off a 'full cup of balanced inner resources and reserves' they will have more energy, patience, tolerance, enthusiasm, presence, joy, peace, creativity and playfulness to offer the immediate family and extending out from there to the greater human family via daily interactions of all kinds.
When parents reserves of energies are depleted they become tired and out of balance, they will display short attention span and possibly more abrupt temperaments. Life begins to feel more like a burden to get through than a joy to live and share together, even the fun things can seem like another task to get done and ticked off the never ending list of "TO DO's".
Parents can become more serious, distracted, fearful and have underlining hidden anxieties about life, their ability to cope and begin to loss hope. They can become simply reduced to just surviving day by day by doing what they think they have to rather than feeling free and supported enough to actually do what they enjoy doing.
To children ( & we all were one at some stage ) , parents are like gods. Children are super tuned in and sensitive to what is really going on in their parents thought, feelings and behaviours and what gets role modelled to them. The connection is more a translation of feelings ( energies ) rather than just words spoken.
Often what may be played out in a child has more to do with what is hidden and yet unacknowledged within the psyche of a parent. A child will most certainty pick up a parents underlining anxiety. While a parent may have learnt to cope with this, a child may not and thus display this anxiety in a more pronounced way that it cannot be overlooked or ignored.
REMEMBER . . .
In our greatest challenges often emerges our greatest clarity, truth, discernment of values, healing empowerment and a inner strength ( capacity for resilience ). All the best books are written with these kinds of recovering heroic stories lines interwoven into them.
In the words of Yoda from Star Wars " May the force be with you " and guide you gracefully with wisdom, courage and grace through these next few months and years.
